The Russian alphabet is based on the Cyrillic alphabet. It has 33 letters. Some of them we recognize, but they make a different sound, like the P is an R. The C is an S. The B is a V. We are getting better at sounding things out.

I learned Cyrillic at Ricks (I took a Russian class for fun), but I've forgotten it ALL now. Every little bit!
By the way, how long will you guys stay in Russia? Do you know? And when you come back, could you please move to Grand View? We miss you! :-)
