We went to a new ranch that was receiving cattle. It is in a new region and it is very close to the Ukraine border. We saw a few sights along the way. It was the girls turn to go. The day before, the boys had helped Jeff haul horses to another ranch.
A WW II Memorial. The tank in the next picture is next to this wall.
Ice fishing is very popular here.
We are close to the Ukraine border... The Russian words say Zone Customs Control. I guess they get the idea.
The cattle trucks going through a village.
Unloading
The ranch compound. The trucks are being unloaded and cleaned.
The door is jammed on this container. Sage is on the right watching
Sophie and Saylor
Unloading cattle from the container. They had traveled 32 hours in the container.
Saylor-- The Ukraine border is behind her.
The girls helped move cattle to another pen.
Newly arrived American horses
On the way home we saw another church. During the Communist era a lot of the churches in the smaller villages were not maintained and now they are slowly repairing them.
We saw Lennin.
