Jasper and Justin were riding through winter pens the other day. One pen is connected to our backyard. The boys came and said hello, got some cookies and rode off again.

| The snow in the back is deep and Jasper's horse, Doc, had to work to get through it. |

| The Russian gates are reallllllllly hard to close as you can tell by Jasper's position. Sometimes they end up cutting the gates because they can't get through them. |

| And they're off again.... Those are windbreaks behind them. Every pen has a set of them and the pens are bedded down with new straw about once a week. |
