Traveling

We left for the US on September 19th.  I managed to get a few pictures of us as we traveled home. It is a long journey, but there isn't really an easy way to get from one side of the world to the other.

This is how the trip started. We had to wait until 11pm for a van to pick us up. A few of kids got tried of waiting.

In the van. It was an 18 passenger van. I don't think it had any shocks. Jasper's analogy: It is like riding in a horse trailer.

We were dropped off at the Moscow airport at 7am. You have to put your luggage through a scanner just inside the entrance.

Waiting at the Moscow airport. Our flight wasn't until 2:30 pm

Joseph waiting at the JFK airport. He wanted to sleep, but we thought he should get on the plane with us.

At the Salt Lake airport (it was a beautiuful sight) at 11:30pm waiting for the hotel shuttle.
We made it home and we did it all in reverse 4 weeks later. We are back in Russia now.

Uggh... I don't envy your traveling schedule at all! Sounds like you're having lots of grand adventures over there, though!
